Hello, my name is Dan Bowyer and I am the Principal of Toronto eLearning School. This past year has been a ‘trifecta’ of accomplishments for me personally. Back in May of 2025 at the University of Toronto’s Defy Gravity Volunteer Summit, I and others were presented with our Defy Gravity pin in recognition of our support towards reaching the 2021 Defy Gravity campaign goal of $4 billion. Currently we are more than half way there. Also in May 2025, I was presented with a King Charles III Coronation Medal and Certificate by Rechie Valdez, PC MP, for volunteer service to our community and the nation. Finally, this January I received my Arbor Award from University of Toronto for “Outstanding Volunteer Service to the University of Toronto”. It’s been a heady year.
